Cascade Volleyball is a Washington State Non-Profit Amateur Athletics Corporation that provides a fun and informative place for young athletes to learn volleyball skills and gain experience to become stronger players for their school teams and gain a life-long love of the game of volleyball. Our goal is to provide excellent coaching and a valuable volleyball experience in Seattle at a reasonable cost.
To promote, educate and expand the volleyball sport using principles of teamwork, individual responsibility and good sportsmanship in competitive, learning and non-competitive activities.
Although primarily a 17s team, 18s players are certainly welcome as are 16s that have competed at the high school level. for those interested in pursuing options to play in college, part of our 2016/17 program will include separate sessions to walk through the preparations for recruiting i.e. video content, finding the right school/ fit and communicating with college coaches (no additional dues). As in the past our team's "practice" schedule will include position specific sessions in addition to regular practices to work on honing techniques and skills. we also work with a registered PT to incorporate conditioning into our practices to improve performance and sustain competitiveness. Finally, if you are interested in attending more than one cascade tryout you only pay one tryout fee therefore you may also attend the u17/18 tryoutsat no additional fee.
with any questions or to get in touch with coach Ed Segat.
TRYOUT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR ALL AGE GROUPS

HIGH SCHOOL OPEN GYM
Stay in volleyball shape for tryouts! Cascade is offering several evenings of open gym for High School students who have completed their high school season and who meet the following criteria:
1) Returning Cascade Club player
2) Or New to Club Player
The format is Coached Game Play - coaches will set up games and provide feedback to make sure players stay sharp. Any player that has completed their HS season is welcome to join, not just players planning to play club... we will continue these sessions throughout the school year for all non-club players.
Cascade is pleased to announce that we will again carry 2 U12 teams.
Coaches will be:
U12-1 Bekah Louie: Current C Team coach at Garfield HS and played club volleyball throughout MS and HS. Bekah is graduating from the University of Washington in December.
U12-2 Jim Hardy: Coaching experience at all age groups and levels. Jim has coached HS for many years, club teams and many community center teams.
SPECIAL MEETING TIME FOR U12 PARENTS ONLY
October 9th, 2pm at Shoreline Christian School
Our Open House on October 9th at 5:30pm is primarily for parents and players to meet the coaches. If you have general questions about how club works after reviewing the Club Teams tab on our website, the Director and other Administrators will be at Shoreline Christian from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on October 9th to give an overview of club volleyball (starts at 2pm) and to answer any questions you may have. Parents may choose to come back at 5:30 for the Meet and Greet of the coaches but we find that is not as important for new parents as making sure they understand what Club Volleyball is all about.
U12 is the youngest division for Club Volleyball in our region. Players must be born on or after 9/1/2004. They are usually 6th graders but experienced 5th graders also participate.
If you cannot make the meeting - please visit our NEW TO CLUB PARENT PAGE. We are currently working on this page, so while some information is there we recommend that you check in after October 9th when it will be complete.
Please feel free to contact us with further questions.
